17048 Crowd Surfing in the Aisle
The one time I crowd surfed I was 14 and going through a Ska music phase. Serving Diet Coke the other day to 165 pax, I noticed the lav line in the back of the plane was starting to resemble the mosh pits I'd frequent back in the 90s. Mosh pits, if you're unfamiliar, are a scary, slimy, stinky and dangerous place, especially if you're 5'2" (which I am). The only way out of one is to crowd surf yourself to safety.
I imagine the technique could work very well on flights where pax are jammed in the galley waiting for the beverage cart to finish up.
